We are a birding family. We look for birds a lot. Backyard birds, shore birds, woodland birds, we enjoy visiting many places to get out in nature and observe and document the birds. In the area near our home we visit a few state parks and nature areas where we have observed 200 birds so far this year. It’s fun to count and identify the birds you see and my son is becoming an expert birder himself being able to identify them by their sounds. Pretty cool, I think. Especially when they are hiding in the trees singing and calling out. One of the things I enjoy is documenting the nature you visit along the way.
